For our web design we use the most compliant XHTML and CSS possible. We will then layer on functionality such as Javascript, Ajax, and DHTML to improve the user experience of the web site. Finally, we can build active web sites using PHP, ASP, mySQL database, XML, WAP, and other technologies as appropriate.
Inmotion has also worked with systems such as Lotus Notes and other collaboration software to build communication systems to web sites for business' clients.
Inmotion also uses commercial and open source solutions for our clients. There are many fantastic Content Management and eCommerce application already written that can be easily installed and customized. There is no point re-inventing the wheel when professional development teams are constantly working on fantastic software products. For example, it is not as if you organised to re-write Windows or Word for your business' needs.
