The aim of this web site was to create a portal where both designers and retailers could register and then elect to contact each other in order for the designers to gain more exposure and retailers the latest and greatest clothing.

Case Study
We at Inmotion Services have been working with Beautiful Fear (BF) for over six months to make their dream a reality. Inmotion and Beautiful Fear were natural partners as we both have the willingness and drive to create an exceptional end result. BF approached Inmotion with their idea: to create the ultimate web based system to match retailers and designers.
This may be a simple premise, but realisation has been far more difficult. Inmotion worked with BF for over a month to map out their exact requirements for both the short and long term. After a number of meetings, phone calls and emails we produced a Specifications Plan outlining exactly how this would be achieved. We decided to base the BF solution on the Mambo Content Management System. Mambo's powerful user and content features were perfect for BF and provided the basic foundations for the final solution.
However, the BF requirements were far more complex then any standard Mambo core could deliver. Inmotion enlisted one of our many experienced Mambo Developers to begin working on customising the solution for the exact needs of BF. For example, new methods of displaying retailer and designer information were created. We also simplified the interface to make it easier then ever to use.
It was then time for our Mambo Web Designers to get involved. Our designers worked with BF's in-house graphic design team to rebuild Mambo's lay out so it would match their innovative corporate image. As a result, the Mambo core is unrecognisable and BeautifulFear.com is exactly as we imagined.
Throughout the process Inmotion has worked closely with Beautiful Fear. For example, BF was provided with details of how they can monitor our project management systems. On a daily basis, BF could see exactly what tasks had been completed, the progress of the entire project and they could contact our developers and designers directly.
Inmotion is proud of what we have achieved with Beautiful Fear and are very excited about its launch. However, the job is not yet finished. Over the next few months we will begin the process again as we commence Stage 2!
